BEHIND OUR NAME
Our founder, deeply connected to her roots, chose to honor her heritage through the brand name. Originally from Birbhum, West Bengal—often referred to as "The Land of Red Soil"—this region is renowned for its rich cultural and artistic heritage. It is also home to the Santhali tribe, whose vibrant traditions have profoundly influenced our founder's vision.
In the Santhali language, ORAK means "Home," reflecting the sense of belonging and warmth that is at the heart of our brand. Inspired by the Santhali people’s colorful approach to life, Orak Living was created to embody this spirit, with a focus on bringing warmth, culture, and artistry into everyday living.

MEET OUR FOUNDER
With a strong background in Product and Textile Design, our founder has built a successful career in the Exports Industry over the years. Coming from a business-oriented family, she always knew in her heart that one day, she would create something of her own. Orak Living is the realization of her vision, passion, experience, and creative intuition. Her goal was to establish a space offering home décor and modern lifestyle products, specifically catering to the needs of kids and teens. With her deep roots in textiles, she is committed to providing an exclusive and creative range of products across every category.
