What does ORAK means?
Our founder wanted to honour her roots — her family is originally from Birbhum, West Bengal, lovingly known as the “Land of Red Soil”, celebrated for its rich craft and cultural heritage.The Santhal tribe forms a big part of the native community there, and “Orak” means “Home” in the Santhali language.Inspired by their vibrant and colourful way of life, Orak Living was born with the same spirit — to bring joy and colour into every home.
Why are your products not categorised under boys and girls?
We believe every child deserves to enjoy colour, creativity, and comfort — without labels.That’s why we don’t categorise our products by gender. Our goal is to make designs that everyone loves, regardless of gender.
How are your products made?
Every Orak Living product is designed and manufactured in our in-house unit.Our small team works passionately to create thoughtful, quality-driven collections using premium materials that retain their charm and durability.
Will the colours or prints fade after washing?
A slight fade over time is natural, but our products are made to last! We recommend washing them gently using mild detergent and no or minimal bleach to preserve the colours.Treat them with love, and they’ll stay with you for a long time.
Are your products sustainable?
Our products are made from 100% cotton fabrics of various counts, designed to be cherished and reused.
We believe in quality over quantity and aim to build a minimal-waste company, steering away from throwaway fashion.
Do you do personalisation ?
Not at the moment. We believe our products should be easy to pass on when your child outgrows them — and personalisation can make that difficult.In the future, we plan to create a pass-it-on program so customers can share their outgrown Orak pieces with others who will love them just as much.
Do you have Gift hampers?
Yes! We have kids’ hampers for everyday gifting, baby showers, birthdays, and return gifts.

Do I have to create an account to purchase your product?
You can place an order without creating an account.However, creating one makes checkout faster, helps you track your orders, and saves your details for future purchases.

Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, you can email us within 24 hours of placing your order to request changes or cancellation.We do recommend double-checking details before confirming your order to ensure a smooth process.
Can you do bulk orders?
Yes! We accept bulk orders for birthdays, return gifts, or other special occasions.The minimum quantity is 25–30 pieces per product, for larger quantity we usually require 15–30 days to complete production depending on the order size.
